Farewell Gypsy

Dear Dr. Darcie:
We wish to express our deepest gratitude to you and your entire staff for your expert loving care of our beloved cat Gypsy. As you know Gypsy lived to the wise age of 20.5 years. We have no doubt that the care Gypsy received from The Cat Doctor was a key factor in her living such a long, healthy and happy life.

Gypsy meant the world to us. She was an amazing cat and our baby. Fred "rescued" her from his backyard when she was the tiniest of kittens. It was love at first sight. She helped us get through some tough times with her loving personality. Of course we had countless wonderful times with her as well. We loved how she would come when we called or whistled for her. And with her being quite the talker, we enjoyed numerous wonderful "conversations."

Seven years ago, during a regular checkup, The Cat Doctor staff discovered the early signs of possible kidney failure. We feared that was the beginning of the end for Gypsy. Your staff quickly put Gypsy on Azodyl which stabilized her kidneys and gave us seven more years with our beloved "Babe-us." Likewise, when she began showing signs of arthritis your staff recommended joint medications. Gypsy quickly experienced improvement in her mobility.

Every person on your staff always treated Gypsy like a queen and as if she was your only client. We were always treated professionally yet lovingly, especially in the final days of Gypsy's life. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kendra Decile. Gypsy responded positively to everything she recommended. She was so helpful and compassionate in Gypsy’s final days. Likewise, we think CC is a terrific addition to your staff as she is always helpful and a pleasure to interact with.

We will continue to sing your praises to anyone who has a cat. Please feel free to use us as a reference for any future clients. In the future we plan on adding both cats and dogs to our family. But rest assured that when we adopt a cat we will be bringing her/him to The Cat Doctor.

Sincerely,
Fred & Andrea Harlan

P.S. The photo of Gypsy is one of our favorites. It was taken on one of the many occasions when she “helped” us fold laundry. Fred frequently told Gyspy that she was a terrific laundry supervisor."
